About

Grace County Bible Church is a small gathering of saints in the Lord who meet on Sunday mornings in each other’s homes for Bible study, edification and fellowship.  Contact us here, as any and all are welcome to study along at any time: GraceCountryBibleChurch@yahoo.com or call Ted at 508-446-7103.

We believe in salvation by grace through faith alone…

Ephesians 2:8-9… “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

…AND the dispensational study of the King James Bible (our final authority) to bring one unto the knowledge of the truth, as God would have us understand His truth for believers today.

1 Tim 2:3-4… “For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

2 Tim 2:15…  “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Right division is the Biblical division of Bible truth, from Bible truth.  The truth of God as revealed in His prophetic program for the earth by way of Israel, and the truth of the mystery for believers today in the heavenly places, revealed to the Apostle Paul in due time.

Ephesians 3:9… “And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

2 Tim 2:22-24… “And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing them that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

We believe the worlds religious system (no matter the name or denomination by which it is called) that man can do anything (outside of Christ) which is pleasing to the Lord; that system (religious or “scientific” – read: evolution, the religion which deems creation – thus man –  its own creator) which somehow elevates man above the fallen, sinful and clearly “devolving” state that he is in fact in, and weakens the Purity and Holiness of Creator God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit: IS the snare of the devil.

2 Cor 11:13-15… “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.  Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

We do not pretend to know all things “Bible” as we learn and grow in grace daily; we only allow the Holy Spirit inspired words on the page to speak clearly, simply and literally, allowing them alone to be our guide (2 Peter 1:20-21).  “Let God be true, but every man (even me) a liar…” (Rom 3:4a).

We believe anyone can be saved.  There is no sin; past, present or future, which the cross-work of Christ failed to address for ALL mankind.  God is NOT imputing man’s trespasses unto him in this dispensation of free grace. God has reconciled His enemies (you and me) unto Himself, therefore it is His enemies that must reconcile themselves to Him by accepting His most gracious gift… His Son, Himself.

We do not believe that you must “fix” yourself in order to be saved, as we believe that God has already “fixed” you (whether you are “living right” or not); you just do not realize it yet.  A mans sin is no longer the issue separating him from God.  A mans belief and trust in what Christ has accomplished on his behalf, is.

2 Cor 5:17-21… “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.  And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.  Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God.  For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

What an incomprehensible gift!  The righteousness of God Himself transferred judicially to our own account.  It would take multiple lifetimes to even begin to come to terms with such Pure Loving Righteousness.  As for “living right”… this comes in time as the believer reckons to himself what God in Christ has done for him.  The life the believer lives is between himself and God alone.  God has, however, made us ambassadors, and an ambassador is a foreigner in a foreign land representing the one who sent him.  As saved Christians, we represent the One who sent us and can only do our personal best, trapped as we are in fallen flesh in a fallen world surrounded by fallen men.  We believe it is the knowledge of what the One has done for us which enables us to “do” for Him.

Ephesians 2:10… “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

We believe that we are sealed by the Holy Spirit, the earnest of our ultimate inheritance; that when our mortal bodies perish from this earth we will be changed and made like unto Christ in His glorified body.  It is in this way we will be ultimately physically and spiritually perfected and made acceptable to meet our Perfect Heavenly Father in eternity.

Philippians 3:21… “Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

We believe that salvation is as simple as simple gets.  If we simply believe/trust in what Christ has done on our behalf, we are then saved for all eternity without the possibility of falling away.  Paul speaks to the Corinthian believers and cautions them away from those who would preach any other gospel (like the gospel of the circumcision or the law) other than the gospel of pure free grace committed unto him by the risen and glorified Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 11:3… “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Once saved, always saved.  Nothing internal nor external to ourselves can separate us from the love that is in Christ Jesus!

Romans 8:38-39… “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,  Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Amen!
